I've got a new home!

My name is Oreo and I now have a family who love me.

From the previous chapter of my story...

Oreo and Tinkerbell both five years of age and bonded came into our care after being left behind to fend for themselves when their owners moved house. Thankfully for Tinkerbell and Oreo kind neighbours kept them fed and set up outdoor houses for them to survive the elements.

Their feeders got in touch when they themselves were having to move out of the area, trying to find a rescue space for this poor pair. We managed to secure an emergency foster space for them where they have finally found a warm bed, food and all the love, cuddles and affection they could want.

Here is what their foster family have to say about them:

We have only had Tinkerbell and Oreo for a short period of time, but they have already adapted so well to living in a home, and their personalities are really shining through.

Oreo is the boy and is a complete love bug. He adores people and loves nothing more than getting as much attention and fuss as possible. If you stop for 5 minutes and sit down he is straight over to lie as close as possible to you. He follows me round to make sure he is the first one in getting as many head scratches as possible. Oreo is still getting used to noises in the home, and can sometimes get scared and runs to a safe space, however he then comes out very quickly if his favourite person tells him its safe. He has adapted to living in a home extremely well. Oreo loves to play and is a good eater, although he does let Tink steal his food as he’s a gentlemen 🙂.

Looking for a home together, adult or children 14+ no other cats in the home and untested with dogs, but with nice slow introductions we don’t see why this would be a problem as long as the dog is nice and calm.

These gorgeous babies really are the sweetest of sweet cats and even after everything they have been thought only want endless love, affection and laps. They adore playing and are desperately hoping that there is a wonderful family that will give them both a second chance at a fabulous life. They really are the best companions.

Waiting for laps.........
