We’d like to introduce to you all to Chorizo

This gorgeous fluff is still only a baby herself at just over a year old. Sadly through all she has known is a horrible life. Chorizo was owned and thrown out un neutered to fight to survive. She hadn’t done anything wrong and was abandoned with possibly five other cats. She’s had two litters of kittens the first litter were picked up by a rescue but the adult cats were left 😡 The last litter of kittens we managed to get to safety and have now all been adopted and are living their very own best kitten lives.

Chorizo is in foster with us and it’s everdently clear that she has suffered abuse as anytime you go near her with your hand she backs away and hisses. When she came in she was completely shut down, petrified and didn’t understand that she was safe. With time, patience and understanding from her amazing foster family she is turning a corner slowly, but it’s slow.........

Chorizo doesn’t know love. Chorizo doesn’t know kindness. Chorizo has never known a world where she’s not scared. She didn’t ask for this and it’s heartbreaking to see how she has suffered. It’s going to take time for her to decompress, find her paws and fully understand that humans are ok.

With her background an adult only home that’s calm and quite with no other animals is best for her to start thriving. 

We just now need one very special person to take a leap of faith and help turn her world around. With love Chorizo will blossom into a gorgeous little lady. With time she will learn to love you as much as you love her. With patience she will start to thrive. With understanding still will start to trust. It’s all possible for this gorgeous fluff but she can’t do it without you!
