My story (so far...)
Mouse came in with his mum Dixie and siblings Biscuit, Dusty and Oreo. They haven’t had the best start to life but after being in foster for a while it’s become evidently clear that mouse has been through some kind of trauma. All of them have known an outside life so aren’t suitable to be indoor only.
He’s just started to come out of his shell with his foster parents and is being such a brave boy. Every day he taking steps forward but it’s one paw at a time. He’s still very timid, and will hide but once he gets fully settled in a home where he fully understands that he’s safe he will absolutely flourish into such an amazing boy ❤️ Mouse just need to find a family that has the time and patience to help him grow.

With kittens born recently at a shelter, in foster, or who are very young, we can tell their age within a few weeks, as they develop so rapidly. Sometimes we get adult cats whose previous owners know their age and that's great...but it's not the norm.
99% of the time, we have zero information about a cat, and their age can only be a "Best Guess" based on their condition, overall appearance, and the state of their teeth. We completely understand that you want this information, and since you will need a date of birth for insurance, so we will do our best. But it is generally only going to be an educated guess from our vets.
